Twitter salıgünü yaptığı bir paylaşımla 11 yıldan bu yana sürdürdüğü 140 karakter politikasını 280 karaktere esneteceğini duyurmuş, yeni uygulamadan öncelikli olarak sınırlı sayıda kullanıcının yararlanabileceğini açıklamıştı.
